June 2019 saw the introduction of the Tenant Fees Act – often referred to as the “Fee Ban!”. Essentially this legislation prohibited fees, with very few exceptions, being charged to Tenants prior to, during, and at the end of their Tenancy. Any such costs would therefore need to be absorbed by Landlords and their agents.
